Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Additional Deg/ Dip in Business is an added advantage
  • At least 2-3 yrs in the automation / building related industries.
  • Have strong customer base
  • Knowledge of automation & control applications
  • Basic understanding of IT / Networking solutions
  • Business savvy and analytical
  • Aggressive selling and strong negotiation skill
  • Strong communication and presentation skill
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sales activities and long term relationship management for specified accounts
  • Customer development to the point of order intake to budgeted level of money booking, gross margin and acceptable risk
  • System and consulting knowledge applicable to vertical markets
  • Understanding of key processes, economic drivers in order to develop valued customer partnership in control and business solutions
  • Sales of service products to Industrial Accounts ranging from software support, life cycle asset management programmes, technology upgrades and preventative and comprehensive contracts
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual financial booking targets.
  • Strategic and day to day account management of key accounts
  • Business improvement, achieving aggressive productivity targets. Be the champion of sales processes and disciplines.
  • Preparation and maintenance of active medium term account plans
  • Accurate planning and forecasting of sales performance
  • Act as industry spokesperson and figurehead in order to promotethe company’s Brand and capability
  • Aggressively deploy new business initiatives
  • Customer relationship management processes (maintaining Account Management Plan) and increasing customer satisfaction levels
  • Account (New & Existing) Development
  • Consult/investigate key business opportunities with range of customer contacts
  • “Product” solutions design and planning with internal HLA resources and supplier contacts
  • Proposal Generation
  • Develop methods presentations, engineer means
  • Research/Network
  • Activity development follow, anticipate trends
  • Reporting/Maintenance
  • Team and Self Development
  • Communicate new programs, solutions, services to the customers
  • Handle and resolve problems / complaints
  • Assist in overdue receivables
  • Attend and participate in sales meeting, product seminars and trade shows
